“Always In Our Hearts”

Lauren was someone who had a heart of gold

She was the kind of person everyone wanted to meet,

She could brighten anyone’s day by just saying hi

And she had the kind of spirit that no one could beat.

She had an unbelievable faith that could never be shattered

That she applied to everything she did each day,

And nothing on Earth seemed to stop this girl

From living her faith in every possible way.

With her love for God she had a love for sports

And you could tell when she played she had been given a gift,

With her talent and attitude on the field or the court

It was her teammate’s spirits she could always lift.

But in the blink of an eye she was gone in the night

Gone to the place she always wanted to be,

To be with the one she had always cherished

To live forever in a place where she could be free.

She was definitely someone incredibly special

Someone who had made the world a better place,

And not just for one but for hundreds of people

Who had been touched by her kindness or her smiling face.

And there is no doubt that now she is an angel

Watching down on us from Heaven up above,

With the memory of her always living in our hearts

Knowing forever more she’ll shower us with her love.
